Hemyock

The largest village on the Blackdown Hills Much of Hemyock’s wealth originally came from the production of wool and the village is still surrounded by working farms. Located on the higher reaches of the Culm, the village is only five miles from the Somerset town of Wellington. With its post office stores, school and pub the village enjoys a strong sense of village identity whilst being within the catchment for Uffculme secondary school.
